Our main lodge is the perfect gathering place to share fish stories and good company. The bar and grill is well-known for its hand-crafted drinks, plate-sized burgers and flavored wings. The menu also features chicken sandwiches, salads, wraps and appetizers. Birch Lakes Resort has live music on weekends from Memorial Day to Labor Day and also host a variety of events. Inquire about our calendar of events when making your reservation.
Our heated pool is a popular place during the warm summer afternoons. The pool is located by the lake so you can watch the boats go by as you lounge the day away. Horseshoes, bean bags, badminton and other yard games are all available if you are feeling energetic. We have a small playground on site. There is a larger playground located in Birchwood about 2 miles away.
Our lake system is best known for its excellent fishing. Birch Lakes Resort & Campground is located on the shores of Big Birch Lake, a 360 acre lake adjoining Big Chetac Lake, a 9 mile long 1,900 acre lake, and little Birch Lake. The lakes are some of the top rated bass lakes in the state. The lake system also features other game fish – Northern Pike and Walleyes. But most of all, panfish are what Big Birch and Chetac lakes are most noted for. Bluegills, Crappies and Perch provide great fishing for everyone. This area is called “Wisconsin’s Bluegill Capital.”
